All-in-One WP Migration plugin has no settings and takes a very simple approach to the task of migrating your site. All options are included in the export and import workflow. All your content, including database content, will be pushed to the background. Therefore, in order to import a site to a new location, WordPress must already be installed. Let's see how it all works.
To get started, just click the All-in-One WP Migration link in the WordPress Admin Panel menu. The first thing you'll see is a very simple page with a big 'EXPORT' button at the bottom. In fact, it is enough to press this button to move forward. There are additional options. There is a Find and Replace function at the top if needed. But in most cases there is no need to do anything. You can click export to continue the process.
The available options are exclusion options, and some are only troubleshooting options. Most users don't need or want to exclude any of their site's content. But it's worth taking a look to see if any of the options apply to your site.
After clicking on EXPORT TO button, a pop-up window appears and from here we have to click on WE FILE option. With the free version of All-In-One WP Migration, only the File option is available. All other options are standalone extensions you can buy. For example, we'll just export to a file.
Then the plugin prepares the Export file. Depending on the size of your site, this may take some time. At the end of the process, you will see an "DOWNLOAD" button. After the download is complete, a final screen will appear to let you know that your data has been successfully imported.
